Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 10, 2026

The short version: TakeFive collects nothing. It runs entirely on your Mac, works offline, and sends no data anywhere.

What TakeFive collects

Nothing. TakeFive does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising.

How your data is stored

All of your settings — work and rest intervals, snooze limits, and your Pro status — are stored locally on your Mac using standard macOS preferences. This data never leaves your device.

Network access

TakeFive does not require an internet connection to function and does not make network requests to our servers. The only network activity comes from the operating system itself, for example:

Third-party services

TakeFive integrates no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Purchases are processed securely by Apple through the App Store; we never see your payment details.

Children’s privacy

TakeFive does not collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy, we will update this page and revise the date above. Because TakeFive collects no data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
